October 18, 2012: Avmor Ltd has expanded it’s recall on Antimicrobial Foaming Hand Soap. Yesterday a recall was issued on the hand soap and today, they have expanded the recall to also include their X3 Clean Alcohol Free Foaming Hand Sanitizer.
Why the Recall on Avmor Ltd Products
The products (listed below) are used in commercial settings (schools, offices, hospitals etc) and have been found to contain a microbial contamination. The bacteria detected in the products can pose a serious health risk to individuals, especially those with weakened immune systems (such as anyone with Cystic Fibrosis, HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Burns, Diabetes and Severe Lung Diseases.)

Avmor X3 Clean Alcohol-Free Foaming Had Sanitizer (Benzalkonium chloride .13%)

What to Do
Do not use any of the above products and speak to your healthcare provider if you have used any of the recalled products.
